Student Wellbeing Lessons

This year we have implemented an exciting new school-wide initiative that will immerse all students in targeted wellbeing activities and lessons throughout the year.  This program offers authentic, inclusive and nurturing learning experiences for all students, promoting student wellbeing, safety, and positive and caring relationships to help all students reach their potential.

Through the delivery of regular lessons targeted on the development of social and emotional skills, organisational skills, safe and responsible use of devices, goal setting, self-regulation, and more, students will learn invaluable skills that will help enhance their leaning, resilience, sense of wellbeing and overall success in school.

On Thursday 8 February all students from years 7-10 completed their first wellbeing lesson, “Learning Together”. The focus of this lesson was about the importance of all students responsibility as safe, respectful and successful learners in all lessons, and how this can impact and enhance the quality of their individual learning and the learning of their peers.

Congratulations to all our students who participated in this activity so positively and enthusiastically.
