Wearing Full Uniform with Pride

Gymea is a school that is moving from strength to strength in all areas of school life. These strengths are supported by a connected school community of wonderful students and families and a dedicated school staff.

Our pride in our school and student pride in themselves is driven by the uniform in which our community has worked hard to make relevant and affordable. The strong majority of students are in correct uniform and footwear and we now expect all students to do the same.

With the cold weather now past us, we will work with all students to ensure that they are wearing correct uniform including correct jumpers to school at all times. We will be communicating the agreed expectations on uniform and footwear so that families make the correct purchases and take advantage of what can be purchased from the school. In preparation for the next school year, we will assist families by identifying clearly the expectations of uniform and maintain the communication through newsletters and student meetings.

We do have a wonderful school. Socially responsible behaviours underpin the successes and calm nature of the school which in turn nurtures pride, respect and inclusiveness. Our students are increasingly improving in their academics and the results show conclusively, that students attending Gymea grow beyond expectation.  We do have a wonderful school, of students, families and staff. The pride in our school is demonstrated in many ways and the proud wearing of uniform is one of them.
