Positive and Successful Start to 2019

We launched into the new school year with a series of presentations to each year group that focused on making the best out of the year and striving for success.  Our school is a wonderful environment for students to learn and grow academically, socially and emotionally. Our focus on Safe, Respectful and Successful Learning and striving for high standards of achievement and behaviour promotes positive and respectful participation in all aspects of school life.

Each student was issued with information about their courses and assessments for the year and course outlines of what they will be learning. These assessment  booklets outline expectations on how to approach assessments and their learning. Discussion at our year meetings also focused on student organisation and doing their best. Their success is strongly supported by the communication and encouragement from both school and home. To help with this, the school website provides ongoing posts of assessments and other learning information including the assessment outlines for the year. Assessment booklets and  assessment task notices can be accessed on our website via the learning menu.

We are very proud of our students as they continue to raise the bar and maturely focus on their learning and look forward to celebrating their successes and achievements throughout the year.
