HSC Major Projects and Practicals

Throughout Term 3 it has been that  important time of year when HSC major projects are due, making it an extremely busy time for year 12 students and their teachers. Congratulations to our Year 12 students who have completed a number of practical HSC examinations and major projects. Finishing these major projects to the high standards that our students have has required high levels of commitment and organisation and support from their teachers.

Students, teachers and families have all felt a  great sense of pride and achievement as our Year 12 students have completed their major works in a number of different courses. Society and Culture students had to complete their Personal Interest Projects (PIP). For this project they spent three terms researching a focused topic of interest, showing a cross-cultural perspective, and applying thorough research methodologies to draw conclusions. Community and Family Studies students completed their independent Research Project and Visual Arts and Extension 2 English students who have spent months working on their major works have finally finished and submitted their major projects.

Our HSC Dance,  Drama, and Music students have had their practical HSC Examinations where they were required to perform in front of a team of external HSC markers. Our students were well prepared and have come out of these practical exams feeling confident and very happy.

Congratulations to all students. We look forward to seeing your results in December.
