Hospitality Work Placement

Key Points

  • Our Year 11 Hospitality students completed a week of mandatory work placement with glowing reports from their host employers.
  • A huge thank you to our community group partners The Ferros Group, The Shed Westfield and Jensens Kareela for hosting our excited students.

Our Year 11 Hospitality students completed their mandatory work placement hours last week through the support of our local community partners: The Ferros Group, The Shed Westfield and Jensens at Kareela. Our students were lucky enough to work at a range of their establishments and experience first-hand the fast pace nature of the hospitality industry as part of their HSC Hospitality studies.

All of our students have had glowing praise from their host employers for their dedicated work ethic and enthusiasm to jump in and learn. A number of our students have already been offered employment opportunities and Bianca is creating an ice cream that has potential to become part of Jensens menu!

Congratulations to all our of Year 11 Hospitality students and thank you again to our partner employers for so hosting them eagerly: The Prince, Highfield’s Caringbah and Ugly Pizza Highfield’s, Taren Point Hotel, The Shed Westfield and Jensens Kareela.
