2019 Music Finale

Our music students have excelled again this term, performing at Gymea Village Fair (28 October) and their final Year Assemblies and our Annual Presentation Day.

At the Gymea Village Fair, our stage band and vocal students presented ten items under a huge marquee in Warburton Street to an enthusiastic crowd of parents, friends and the Fair attendees. This event was another opportunity to provide Gymea students with a real world audience to exhibit their learning and talents. We congratulate our 30 performers for their hard work in preparing for the event and for being so willing to assist in moving equipment to and from the platform.  Our tutors, Jessica Spahr and Vicki Jones are likewise to be congratulated for their leadership and for choosing items that were a stylistic and technical match for each performer and group.

To end the year on a musical note, 28 music students have worked hard for their final year assemblies, preparing vocal, piano and instrumental items, with our Stage Band and Year 9 vocal group performing for the Annual Presentation Day.

Congratulations, musicians, for your hard work and dedication!
