As part of the year 7 and 8 drama program our kids entered into a puppet making competition that formed part of their assessment in the course. Ms Osborne our Drama teacher described the kid’s response and puppet productions as ‘amazing’. Upon handing it in, the students had each completed a profile on their puppet that included a name; backstory and chose a category to enter it into. Some of the categories are chosen were “most successful puppet”, “ugliest puppet”, “cutest puppet”, “most environmentally friendly”, “most useful”, “best sock/finger/shadow/marionette”, “wooden spoon puppet” and “scariest puppet”. The puppets will soon be judged in a competition with prizes awarded. Have a look at some the amazing work our students have done.
