In Year 12, Visual Art, we focused on our Body of Works and critical-historical writings, each contributing to our overall HSC Visual Arts course. We were able to experiment and use multiple techniques and mediums to express our concepts and ideas with the guidance of our teacher.
Throughout the course of the year we learnt how to use a variety of materials and the advantages and disadvantages of using them in our works. The theory components and case studies of art, this year, related to the theory we did in Year 11 which enabled us to build and enhance our written expression in short answer and essay form. Our Body of Works had us spending far more than the required minimum of 60 hours to produce our major works. Art has been a creative outlet throughout our HSC year and has been an enjoyable and at times an emotional experience.
