The recent weather has been very intense and difficult. We have not enforced our policy of school jumpers in the start of this term and have allowed non uniform protective garments during the period of unusual weather.
Jumpers for colder Weather
Now with the onset of winter and the intense weather of week 1 behind us, we are reminding students of the expectations in wearing correct uniform including school jumpers and jackets. We seek your help in making sure your child has their school jumper ready for the school day. Students will be asked to remove no uniform clothing at school.
When considering purchasing uniform and shoes, please refer to the school’s guide available on the website at “Uniform” It is important that all students are prepared for school with their correct school uniform (normal uniform and sports uniform). Working together, the school and families can help reinforce the expectations of student uniform and continue to raise the sense of community that is helping drive improvements in our school.
Shoes in 2015
Many parents do indicate that they are getting mixed messages about shoes. Please refer to the list and diagram below before purchasing new shoes for your child.
Acceptable School Shoes:
• Shoes – leather all black (including the sole and laces), no stripes, no brandings or logos
• The shoe must cover the upper section of the foot to protect against falling objects or spilt liquids.
