At GTHS we are very passionate about the Wellbeing of all our students and the wider community.

We have implemented a student welfare curriculum that provides continuity and meaning across 7 through to 12.  This curriculum will be delivered during Year meetings.

Examples: Coping and resilience, Health and Hygiene, Safety in the community, Values, identity and culture , Anti-bullying and student conflict, School community involvement and Student leadership, Goal Setting & Study skills

Positive behaviour for learning – being explicit with welfare

Positive Behaviour for Learning focuses on equipping our students with the understanding and skills to be safe, respectful and successful learners.  Maintaining a consistent approach in structuring our welfare programs assists greatly in teaching these expectations and demonstrating the overall values we place on our students being safe, respectful and successful with their learning.

Please find below a range of topics, courses and information that will assist Parent/Guardians with living with an Adolescent.
