Uniform for 2015
When considering purchasing uniform and shoes over the holiday break, please refer to the school’s guide available on the website at “Uniform”
It is important that all students are prepared for school with their correct school uniform (normal uniform and sports uniform) Working together, the school and families can help reinforce the expectations of student uniform and continue to raise the sense of community that is helping drive improvements in our school.
Shoes in 2015
Many parents do indicate that they are getting mixed messages about shoes. Please refer to the list and diagram below before purchasing new shoes for your child.
Acceptable School Shoes:
• Shoes – leather all black (including the sole and laces), no stripes, no brandings or logos
• The shoe must cover the upper section of the foot to protect against falling objects or spilt liquids.
A Uniform Change
In 2015 a team of students, staff and parents will be looking into the school uniform to ensure it best meets the needs of the students and the school. It has been a number of years since the uniform was last reviewed and the end result will aim to offer changes that are better suited to our students, affordable and promote a positive image of our students. The changes will take about 2 years to fully transition so that families can use the uniforms they have purchased. If you would like to help out with this review, please email our administration office.
