In 2015, we launched our first cultural and historical tour of Europe which proved to be an unforgettable experience for all of the students who participated.
In 2017, we are planning to travel to Rome, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Ypres, Normandy and Paris. The tour will enhance students’ understanding of civics, the Anzac tradition and the contribution Australian soldiers have made internationally, particularly as it will be the centenary of Passchendaele in 1917. Students will be immersed in the culture and societies of Italy, Belgium and France which will contribute greatly to their understanding of the world we live in.
Students from Gymea Technology High School are invited to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ for our Europe Trip in April 2017. See the attached form for more details and submit the form to the front office by the end of April this year. There will be a parent and student meeting in May 2016 to provide details about the trip.
